Core Groups are where faith and community come together. These small gatherings provide a place to study God’s Word, build relationships, and grow spiritually. Whether you're new to church or have been following Christ for years, there’s a group for you!
Join us every Sunday morning as we gather to worship, grow in God’s Word, and encourage one another in faith. Our service includes Christ-centered worship, biblical teaching, and a welcoming community where you can connect and belong. Our gathering begins at 10:45am at 302 W Kennedy Blvd.
Thrive Camp was established by the student ministry of First Baptist Tampa in 2020 during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. With most camps closing down during the summer, the staff at FBC came up with the idea to host their own camp and invite other churches to participate. The idea behind the camp was to involve youth/student pastors of other like minded churches and give them the opportunity to speak during the morning worship experiences at the camp. Thrive Camp is a yearly beach summer camp experience at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat for 6-12th grade students and includes beach games, exciting worship experiences, sound Biblical teaching, engaging small groups, and competitive, yet fun team challenges. ​ We would love for you to sign up for Thrive Camp 2026 hosted from July 12-16th at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat in Panama City Beach, Florida! Come out and join us for a fun, friendly game of pickup basketball! This is a great chance for adults to get active, enjoy some friendly competition, and build community. All skill levels welcome!
Our church volunteers with Amazing Love Ministries on the second Monday of each month, serving home-cooked meals to the homeless in Tampa Bay. This community effort relies on volunteers from local churches and the wider community, working together to offer support and share hope and love. Click Here
