STUDENT MINISTRY

At FBC Tampa, our Student Ministry exists to connect students in 6th–12th grade to a thriving life in Christ. We partner with parents to disciple students, helping them grow in their faith, deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and learn how to live as Christ-followers in their daily lives.

We meet on the second floor of the Carlton Building, where students gather for worship, Bible study, and fellowship in a space designed just for them.

If you have any questions, feel free to email our Next Generation Pastor, Ben Block, at ben@fbctampa.org.

Wednesday Night Gathering

On Wednesday nights, students in 6th–12th grade gather for an exciting evening of fun games, Christ-centered worship, and powerful expository biblical teaching. Whether you’re new to First Baptist Church or already part of our church family, Wednesday nights are a great opportunity for students to glorify God, grow in their faith, and connect with one another.

Sunday Morning Core Groups

Sunday mornings are dedicated to helping students in 6th–12th grade dig deep into God’s Word through Bible study in small groups. These groups are tailored to each student’s age and stage of life, providing a welcoming space for meaningful discipleship and personal growth. We believe discipleship happens best in circles, not rows, and we’re excited to welcome your student into our community.

Thrive Camp

Thrive Camp is our annual summer beach retreat at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat for 6th–12th grade students. It’s a week packed with beach games, exciting worship experiences, sound biblical teaching, engaging small group discussions, and team challenges that are both fun and meaningful. Thrive Camp is a life-changing experience where students grow deeper in their faith and closer to one another. Follow the link below for more information!
