The Mission: Kenya, Interlocking Ministries
Interlocking ministries strives together, partnering with Bethesda Faith Ministries of Kenya, training in evangelism and discipleship in the public schools, marketplace, church plants and summer camp programs. They have held pastor conferences, marriage conferences, widow & orphan ministry as well as sexual purity training. They are interlocked with them in a beautiful teamwork called the “body of Christ”. This is why they are called Interlocking Ministries.
The Missionaries: Bobby and Page Johnson began their journeys to Kenya in 2001. After a career as camp missionaries in Raleigh, NC, they launched Interlocking Ministries in 2011 to focus full-time on planting churches and teaching the Bible in Kenya.
The Mission: Nepal, Global Mission Nepal
Global Mission Nepal’s primary work is to be a catalyst for an indigenous church-planting movement spreading throughout Nepal and South Asia. Therefore, they believe that wise stewardship of their resources — their time, training, and finances — leads them to planting churches.
The Missionary: Dan Pokharel grew up a Hindu in Nepal. He trusted in Christ in his early twenties and has been planting churches in the U.S. and Nepal ever since – as pastor, as catalyst with the North American Mission Board, and as President of Global Mission Nepal, now based in Charlotte, NC. He and Mandira have two sons; Ananta, and Anugrah.
The Mission: South Africa, Xhosa Gospel Mission
Xhosa Gospel Mission establishes and runs children’s homes, AIDS hospice, local churches, and preschools around East London, South Africa.
The Missionary: Dennis “Hoppy” Pohlmann was pastoring in his hometown of East London in 1992 when God called him to launch Xhosa Gospel Mission. Through church planting, children’s homes, AIDS care and more, he and his team–with Pastor Eric and his wife Ann, and Pastor James–are “dedicated to the well-being of the Xhosa people.”
The Mission: Dominican Republic, Sowing For Eternity
Sowing for Eternity has the passion and vision to reach the Dominican Republic, the Caribbean and beyond with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our holistic approach to helping people move from brokenness to wholeness includes: evangelism and discipleship, church planting, training leaders within the church, and supporting the local church to start the cycle again.
The Missionaries: Kenneth and Valerie Balootje have served the Dominican Republic since 1994. In 2014, they founded Sowing For Eternity with a passion to evangelize and disciple those who live in the DR. Kenneth has a heart for the lost, and is relentless in sharing the gospel. He has partnered with churches around the globe to live out the Great Commission.
The Mission: Southeast Asia, Cru
The Missionary: Evy was raised up in FBC Tampa to be a missionary to a least-reached, and mostly closed part of the world. In 2017-2018, Evy served on staff with Cru as a full-time intern living in East Asia. She is currently a missionary with Cru in Southeast Asia.
The Mission: Eastern Cuba
As a church family, we currently travel to bring the gospel to Cuba and take through door-to-door evangelism.
The Missionary:
Pastor Daniel has served at First Baptist Church of Jiguani for more than a decade, and he oversees several smaller churches in neighboring towns. The Cedeño family and FBC Jiguani are faithful ambassadors of the Gospel in eastern Cubs, and faithful partners with FBC Tampa.
