Fall Discipleship Offerings
The fall discipleship schedule has been finalized and here are the major opportunities available for you:
Introduction to Evangelism
Wednesdays 9/4 – 10/30 @ 6:45-7:45 pm in the LifeTree Cafe
This Missional Life Institute course is designed to help you understand what evangelism is and to teach practical and effective ways to share your faith in Christ.
First Steps Course
Sunday 9/15 @ 5:30-8:30 pm in the LifeTree Cafe
Wednesdays 11/6 – 11/13 @ 6:15-7:45 pm in the LifeTree Cafe
You will have two opportunities to complete the First Steps Course this fall. A Sunday three-hour intensive will be held (no childcare is available) or you can attend two 1 1/2 hour sessions on consecutive Wednesday evenings when childcare is available.
Spiritual Gifts Course
Wednesday 11/20 @ 6:15-7:45 pm in the LifeTree Cafe
This course will explain what spiritual gifts are, what they are for, and how you can discover and use the ones God has given you.
Heaven Small Group
Sundays 10/6 – 11/10 @ 4:00-5:30 pm in the Dining Room
This study will walk you through a biblical understanding of heaven to see what it will be like, what you will do there, and what difference heaven should make in how you live now.
AMP Church Database Training
Wednesday 10/30 @ 6:15-6:45 pm in the LifeTree Cafe
One of the helpful features of our church database is the ability for church members (if we have an e-mail address for you) to access an online portal. That portal connects you with an online directory of members, the groups you are in, the ministries you serve with, your giving history, and more. This session will help show you how to connect into the portal and how to use the various features.
BASICS Training
Wednesdays 12/4 – 12/18 @ 6:45-7:45 pm in the LifeTree Cafe
The BASICS is a new resource being developed to help new believers or members of FBC Tampa to walk through 12 of the basics of following Jesus. Each of the twelve sessions is designed to be completed in 30-45 minutes and includes watching a 10 minute video that includes supplemental teaching material. Ideally, The BASICS would be used by a mentor and a person he or she is discipling. This training course will equip you to use The BASICS as a mentor.
Contact Brian Dembowczyk with any questions you have about these opportunities or visit www.fbctampa.org/calendar for details and to register.
