We’ve re-scheduled the Men’s Camping (which was postponed in early October) for November 18, 2016.

  • If you have already RSVPed, you are still registered. If you have already registered and you cannot make the new date, then please email me now.

Friday Night – November  18, 2016

  • Arrival, Setup, Games: 4:00-7:00 p.m.
  • Dinner 7:00-7:45 p.m.
  • Hay Ride: 8:00 p.m.
  • Campfire & Smores: 8:30 p.m.

Saturday Morning – October  8, 2016

  • Breakfast: 7:00-8:00 a.m.
  • Chapel on the lake: 8:30-9:30 a.m.
  • Free time: 9:00-11:30 a.m. – Canoeing, basketball, football, softball / baseball, Frisbee, hiking, mountain biking (byob), petting zoo, tree fort, game room (ping pong, carpet ball), zip line, swimming, etc….
  • Lunch and Pack Up: 11:30 a.m.

About Lakewood Retreat

We have reserved 5 tent-camping sites for 40 guys plus an RV site with a full-hook-up for Eddie’s camper, plus a cabin with six bunks for up to 12 guys who may require “luxury” camping accommodations.

Lakewood Retreat is Christian retreat property in Pasco County just west of I-75 and between Highways 52 and 98. It should take most of you around an hour to get there. Click here for directions.

  • Some Details: You should bring your own tent. We have five sites reserved, and we can put up to eight guys on each site.
  • Set up is allowed as early as 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
  • We are taking care of all the food and drink.
  • We are asking for a $30 donation per adult to help us cover food and other costs.
  • Make your check payable to FBC Tampa, and get it somehow to the church office anytime before of after the event. No rush. No worries. Just be sure to include “Camping” in the memo.
