The spring term of Missional Life Institute begins Wednesday, April 3 and runs through Wednesday, May 22. Four courses will be offered during this 8-week term:

 

“An Introduction to Missional Living”

Instructor: Brian Dembowczyk

Room: 400

One of the nine Foundational Courses, this course is designed to help participants understand how to develop a missional lifestyle in every facet of life. In essence, missional living is simply living as a missionary where ever you are. Topics include developing a missional heart, developing a missional mind, developing missional relationships, developing missional activities, and developing missional conversations.

 

“Forgotten God: Reversing Our Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit”

Instructor: Tim Grimes

Fee: $10 suggested donation

Written by Francis Chan, this study reminds participants of the true source of the church’s power – the Holy Spirit. Chan contends that the church has ignored the Spirit for far too long, and that without Him, the church operates in its own strength, accomplishing only human-sized results. This DVD-driven study offers a compelling invitation to understand, embrace, and follow the Holy Spirit’s direction in life.

 

“When God’s People Pray”

“God and Country”

Instructor: Mike Horton

This study seeks to explain how the founding of the United States of America was intertwined with a biblical faith in God that has sadly been rejected today. Interact with evidence that supports the close connection between God and country and discover that it was never the Founder’s intention to remove God from the American society.
